As the name suggests the Business Innovations Development Scheme exists to assist prospective and expanding small businesses to commercialise an invention or new technology. 

 

Financial assistance is provided to eligible businesses to help meet the costs of private sector advice and expertise.  A key objective of the program is to facilitate the transfer of skills from these private consultants to the client so they may apply these skills again in the future. 

 

On-going mentoring is also available through the local SBC.
